Job summary

Caribou Coffee Operating Company, Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader in Minnesota to guide store operations and lead the team in delivering high-quality guest experiences. You will partner with the General Manager to ensure clear goals and effective communication across the shift.

Leadership experience is essential, with a focus on coaching Team Members, maintaining SOPs, and upholding brand standards. Availability for varied shifts including mornings and evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience or approved by Caribou Coffee to take leadership as Shift Leader.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction, upholding Make Fun Happen values.
• Ensure team understands daily goals, SOPs, and guest connections.
• Coach and provide feedback to Team Members to improve performance.
• Assist with inventory, product knowledge, and promotional items.
• Day-to-day tasks include bank deposits, store orders, and other duties as assigned.
• Manage shift priorities and delegate tasks to the team, maintaining calm under pressure.
