Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift leader to run a Dairy Queen store with attention to detail and a focus on creating positive memories for Fans. The role supports the GM in daily operations, including inventory, staff development, and achieving sales and service goals.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership, solid knowledge of food safety, and ServSafe certification. Training and a flexible schedule are available to support a busy franchise environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience, required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe® certifiable

Responsibilities

• Perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.
• Work in and out of different temperature ranges.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work around nuts and other allergens.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the GM.
• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, meeting quality, service and atmosphere goals.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching shift leads and crew to build a productive team.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed throughout shifts.
