Job summary

Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is seeking an experienced Hourly Supervisor to lead by example and create a great guest and crew experience in Charleston, SC. This hands-on role supports management with shift operations, training, and accountability, with opportunities to grow into restaurant leadership.

You will oversee shift flow, delegate tasks, and set the crew up for success while maintaining high service standards and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, professional, and judgment-driven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift flow and delegate tasks.
• Lead guest service and team communication.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Assist with opening/closing, checklists, cleanliness.
• Serve as a point of contact for crew during shifts.
• Uphold standards for FOOD, SERVICE & VIBE.
