Job summary

Culver's in South Elgin, IL is seeking a motivated shift supervisor/manager to lead the True Blue Crew, uphold Culver’s standards, and ensure every guest leaves happy. You will coach staff, enforce policies, manage opening/closing procedures, control labor and food costs, and maintain food safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of leadership experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Runs shifts with daily deployment sheet to ensure quality products, guest service and cleanliness while controlling labor and food costs.
• Implements restaurant policies and procedures and holds team members accountable.
• Ensures food safety practices and employment law compliance; reports issues to General Manager.
• Coaches and mentors team members to develop a high performing team.
• Monitors safety practices related to hazard communication and workplace safety.
• Performs opening and closing procedures and manages POS operations and cash handling.
• Monitors inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for shifts.
