Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, deliver outstanding guest service, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards on every shift.

You’ll train and coach crew, manage write-offs, cash handling, and inventory, and help drive store performance through teamwork, communication, and accountability. Competitive pay with incentives and comprehensive benefits await the right leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and guide team to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotions.
• Lead shift change communications and align the team.
• Model communication & accountability with leadership.
• Monitor task completion and provide feedback.
• Foster accountability, respect, and teamwork.
• Step in during busy times to lead by example.
