Job summary

Jersey Mike's in Layton, UT is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and foster a friendly, high-standard guest experience.

You'll lead by example, coach Crew Members, assist with training, and ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness while supporting the General Manager and Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience.
• Leadership experience or readiness for a leadership role.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during shifts with positive leadership and exceptional customer service.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience and ensure every customer has a 'Sub Above' experience.
• Prepare fresh subs to Jersey Mike's standards and maintain food quality.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members; assist with training and onboarding.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment; monitor standards.
• Manage shift execution, including opening and closing tasks; assist with inventory and waste reduction.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.
