Job summary

Krystal Restaurants Career Center is seeking a Shift Leader to support the store management team at a Krystal restaurant. You will supervise daily operations, uphold Krystal standards, and coach A+ talent to achieve People, Customer, Sales and Profit goals.

You will lead by example on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures, while managing cash, inventory and labor. A 21+ candidate with ServSafe, HS diploma or GED, and flexible availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Servsafe certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with one or more years restaurant experience.
• Systems & Software - proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnights, weekends.
• May be required to travel to other locations as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Krystal Core Values while assisting the management team in training and recognizing A+ talent.
• Partner with management to execute the Performance Management process for staff.
• Drives a customer-focused culture and trains employees to meet service standards.
• Coaches, drives excellence, and holds shifts accountable around core procedures.
• Ensures food safety standards are met through direct observation during shifts.
• Partners with management to ensure restaurant plans and marketing initiatives are implemented.
• Executes cash, inventory, labor and food control procedures during shifts.
