Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a motivated Shift Lead to support the RGM by running shifts in a self-sufficient manner at our Boston location. You will take ownership, solve problems, and guide teammates to deliver fast, friendly service while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include executing routines, coaching Team Members, ensuring uniform appearance, and maintaining a positive team environment. This role requires flexibility and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to do basic business math.
• Able to stock shelves and coolers.
• Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry trash containers.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Consistent Customer Satisfaction.
• Execute the MIC Success Routine and ensure responsibilities under People, Customers and Service are completed.
• Ensure that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s).
• Ensure employees present a neat, clean appearance and wear the company uniform.
• Demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority; ensure food safety, quality and accuracy of orders.
• Greet customers with a smile and be polite and pleasant when speaking with customers.
• Work with urgency and cooperate with peers as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude with co-workers and maintain good attendance.
• Understand posted work schedule and report on time in uniform.
• Understand and use the approved time keeping system accurately recording hours worked.
• Take initiative and energy, going beyond what is required.
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on performance of Team Members and actively participate in training.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with RGM to resolve them.
• Assist Profit and Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Assist RGM with facility maintenance and health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as required by manager.
