Job summary

Chick-fil-A Mesa is seeking a Team Leader who embodies our core values, servant’s heart, and culture. You will support senior leadership in daily operations and coach team members toward Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service.

The two main focuses are completing tasks to keep the restaurant running smoothly and providing coaching to new hires. Team Leaders lead by example, set the tone for shifts, and count drawers at day’s end.

Qualifications

• Smile, eye contact and enthusiastic communication are essential.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to connect with guests.
• Reliable transportation and readiness to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong people skills and willingness to support Team Members.
• Leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant.
• Offer immediate and respectful responses to Guest needs.
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day.
• Maintain excellent written and spoken communication.

They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:
