Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Dallas is seeking Shift Leaders to organize and manage the team as they prepare for and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a clean and safe restaurant environment.

This role requires clear communication with the management team to meet sales, labor, and profitability goals, the ability to supervise and train staff, and a focus on guest service, brand standards, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading and writing in English required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of math and financial management is preferred.
• 1 year restaurant or retail experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Food Safety certification or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations and shift responsibilities to employees.
• Hold team members accountable for performance accurately and respectfully.
• Support the development of team members.
• Create and maintain a guest focused culture.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed.
• Ensure shift is staffed and meets guest service goals.
• Ensure shift has adequate product for use and prepared as directed.
• Action plans to ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
• Action plans to drive system improvements.
• Control costs while also driving service and sales goals.
• Manage in-restaurant cash and banking procedures to standard.
• Execute promotions with team training and sampling.
