Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee shift operations, guest experience, and sales performance in-store. In the absence of management, you will lead the team to deliver great guest service while executing brand standards and policies.

The role requires coordinating opening/closing duties, enforcing food safety, managing costs, and driving promotions. You will train staff, resolve guest issues, and uphold safety and cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading shifts and supervising team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and labor laws.
• Ability to handle guest complaints effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead team on shifts and assign tasks.
• Position the team using the huddle board.
• Ensure security and safety procedures are followed.
• Open/close duties transition.
• Provide great guest service and handle complaints.
• Promote sales through in-store promotions.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash on shift.
• Count drawers and handle daily cash.
• Complete required e-learning.
• Maintain product quality standards.
• Work on the line as needed.
