Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee shift operations, coach team members, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will manage tasks, respond to guest concerns, and maintain high standards of service and safety across the shift.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ideal candidates are 18+, reliable, with flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week
• Full‑time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations including product, process and people responsibilities.
• Coach and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Ensure service quality and cleanliness meet brand standards.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are completed.
• Maintain compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory and communicate with management on performance.
