Job summary

Vitality Bowls is seeking a store lead in Boulder to manage shifts, ensure accurate food preparation, and deliver top-notch customer service. You will supervise staff, delegate tasks, handle deliveries, cash, and inventory, and collaborate with management on process improvements.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train and evaluate team members while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. Positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Become food certified.
• Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards.
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency.
• Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance.
• Come to work with a positive attitude, and are willing to work well with others.
• Leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team, making sure food is made accurately and taken to customers in a timely manner.
• In charge of shifts and delegating tasks
• Show exemplary knowledge of the job and excellent customer service
• Deal with upset customers/problems with food in a polite way, making sure the customer is happy
• Accept deliveries, ensuring they are complete and correct or issue refunds
• Communicate with managers about inventory status and restocking needs
• Check daily petty cash and go to the bank for change if needed
• Restock the register nightly for the correct change
• Communicate with managers about employees' strengths, dependability, and customer service
• Manage the break schedule, ensuring timely arrivals and breaks
• Attend Management Meetings
• Communicate with managers about new ideas to improve efficiency and safety
• Assist with interviews, evaluations, and training
• Memorize training material and explain health benefits of ingredients to customers
• Keep front lobby and outside area clean; check every 15 minutes
• Provide excellent customer service, including accurate wait times
• Assist and ring up guests, answer calls and take orders
• Follow recipes and prepare food promptly and sanitarily
• Prep food according to procedures
• Continuously clean kitchen and lobby
• Put away deliveries and keep organized
• Wash dishes and put away
• Coordinate with staff to ensure timely, accurate orders
• Carry out food to customers
• Communicate schedule changes to managers
• Show up on time and take appropriate breaks
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Perform additional tasks as requested
• Follow sanitation guidelines
• Stock and rotate food
