Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is hiring for a restaurant team member in Alpharetta, GA. You will engage with guests, assist with opening/closing tasks, and help manage daily restaurant operations with a focus on service excellence.

You’ll learn menu details, food safety, and cash handling while contributing to a friendly, fast-paced environment. Training is provided, and a Food Manager’s certification may be encouraged after starting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the policies and procedures.
• Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food.
• Work flexible schedule.
• Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Must have or obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them.
• Opening & closing tasks.
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty.
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Prepping food and doing side work.
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
