Job summary

Taziki’s Café in the United States is seeking friendly restaurant team members to join our fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You'll work opening or closing shifts, help prep, assist with catering orders, and ensure food safety and recipe accuracy while delivering warm, memorable service.

You'll engage with guests, learn the menu, support or operate various stations, and help maintain health standards and cash handling practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the policies and procedures.
• Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food.
• Work flexible schedule.
• Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Must have or obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Opening & closing tasks
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Prepping food and doing side work
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
