Job summary

Taziki’s Café in Pelham, AL is seeking team members to join our fast-paced, guest‑centric team. Expect morning or evening shifts with opportunities to learn our kitchen and catering processes while helping guests with Take‑Out and dine‑in services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication with guests/team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests and making meaningful connections.
• Opening & closing tasks.
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty.
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear directions to the team.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Prepping food and doing side work.
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout shift.
• Following Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of products.
• Maintaining hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
