Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to collaborate with the General Manager, motivate the team, and ensure a friendly guest experience. You’ll coach staff, open/close shifts, and uphold quality and cleanliness in a fast-paced store.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, can work varied hours including early mornings and weekends, and must pass background checks. ServSafe certification and a valid driver's license are preferred where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Maintain food/beverage quality and a safe, clean store.
