Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Shift Leader to collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will empower staff, coach team members, and help open and close the store with minimal supervision.

You will help maintain food quality and a safe, clean store environment, with opportunities to advance to General Manager as many leaders have done before.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set morale and tone of the team; provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Ensure quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
• Opportunity to grow into higher roles, with many General Managers starting as Shift Leaders.
