Job summary

Excel Fitness in Texas is seeking a Team Leader to support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in implementing strategies to attract and retain members, while upholding Excel standards and brand values.

You will train and supervise up to six Team Players, answer questions, conduct daily inspections, audits, and inventory reviews, and help schedule shifts. You will stay proficient in PFHQ and Excel, participate in community events, and maintain a welcoming, clean club environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required; training provided if needed.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computers.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission and Excel brand.
• Honest with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/AM in implementing member attraction strategies.
• Train new Team Players and train on operational processes.
• Use Team Performance Tracker to meet metrics.
• Supervise up to 6 Team Players on shifts.
• Maintain high member service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
• Conduct regular audits and inventory reviews.
• Oversee club operations when GM/AM are unavailable.
• Represent Excel at community events.
