El Pollo Loco, Inc. in Montclair, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the restaurant team during your shift, ensuring fast, friendly service and high food quality.

You will manage opening/closing, supervise crew, maintain safety and cleanliness, handle cash procedures, and train team members on new products and procedures. The role offers growth within a food-service environment and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Must pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsabilités

• Manage opening and closing procedures, including security and inventory checks.
• Ensure service speed and customer satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assign tasks, monitor breaks, and adjust staffing based on sales volume.
• Train team on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash/register duties, deposits and area supervisor guidance during shifts.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
