Job summary

Church’s Chicken in the United States is seeking a Shift Leader to guide Team Members on shift and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will coach, train, and develop staff while enforcing Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures.

You will monitor service quality, food safety, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures, ensuring timely execution and a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment for guests and crew.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is highly recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, training and development to Team Members on shift.
• Ensure menu items are prepared and served to standard procedures.
• Ensure that prepared job assignments and activities are carried out by Team Members.
• Assist Team Members as necessary to prepare quality products, provide service, and maintain a clean restaurant.
• Demonstrates proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
• Enforce safety and security policies and procedures at all times.
• Monitor and perform opening and closing duties as required on the Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Follow and ensure use of proper product procedures for preparation of all menu items.
• Follow procedures for receiving, handling, and storage of food products.
• Follow proper rotation and icing procedures.
• Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors at all times.
• Ensure on-time attendance by each employee for shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
