Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. in Redmond, Oregon seeks a Shift Lead to energize the team, coach Crew, and drive guest satisfaction. You’ll partner with the GM, manage shifts, and ensure standards across food safety, quality, and service while upholding Taco Bell’s culture and values.

You’ll use your leadership, communication, and organizational skills to train staff, handle cash procedures, and monitor inventory and labor. This fast-paced role rewards ownership and results with competitive pay and meal perks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity to move up to 45 lbs.
• Attendance and punctuality are required.
• Basic math skills.
• Promotes Taco Bell's culture and values.
• Ensures health and safety standards are followed.
• Executes shift duties accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to achieve resolution.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.
