Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring Shift Managers to lead a fast-paced, guest‑focused team on the floor. You’ll set the tone for a cheerful, can‑do culture, coach teammates, and ensure smooth food service, stocking, and cash handling.

You’ll drive store performance by training staff to meet guest service and safety standards, manage inventory and communications, and lead shift changes to keep daily operations aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift: set a cheerful, can-do tone and guide food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Drive Operational Excellence: train staff to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards; manage inventory, vendor check-in, and promos.
• Model Communication & Accountability: relay updates, monitor tasks, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Lead shift changes and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
