RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, guest‑focused team. You’ll set the tone on your shift, coach teammates, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and smooth operations while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).

Responsibilities

• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
