Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team on your shift, setting a cheerful, can-do tone and driving guest satisfaction. You’ll support food service, stock, clean, and handle cash while coaching teammates in real time to deliver exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail/food service and at least 1 year in a supervisory role, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Roles offer growth, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model Communication & Accountability by relaying updates from leadership to shift associates.
