Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a dynamic Shift Manager to lead a winning team on each shift, setting a cheerful, can-do tone and ensuring outstanding guest service. You’ll coach teammates, support food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling, and drive operational excellence across inventories and promotions.

You will train and develop store teams to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards, while fostering accountability and teamwork in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model Communication & Accountability – relay important updates from leadership to shift associates.
