Job summary

Andy’s Frozen Custard in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Shift Manager to direct daily operations and train/coaching team members. You will run shifts, ensure quality custard production, and uphold safety and service standards while modeling our culture.

The role requires at least 6 months of management experience and the ability to work late nights and weekends. You will lead the crew and ensure high customer satisfaction on every shift.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of management experience and/or Andy’s experience.
• Must be 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory levels per shift.
• Operate custard machines and ensure quality.
• Prepare custard items to Andy’s standards.
• Complete Food Safety and Training programs.
• Drive KPIs to increase sales and transactions.
• Maintain calm during high volume periods.
• Train and develop new employees on shift.
• Provide clear, timely feedback to crew and managers.
• Execute opening/closing duties as key holder.
• Lead store in GM/AGM absence.
• Follow Andy’s policies and dress code.
• Deliver legendary customer service.
• Use tools to improve efficiency (costs, labor).
• Maintain health and safety regulations.
