Job summary

Shake Shack in Houston is seeking a restaurant leader to supervise and guide a team on shift, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed of service. You will help build a high-performing hourly team and may assist with purchasing, receiving, and inventory tasks.

The role requires at least 1 year of leadership experience, a Food Safety Certification, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.).
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
