Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Shift Leader to support management in meeting restaurant goals through hands-on leadership and enforcing policies. You will help deliver hot food, maintain an outstanding image, and ensure 100% guest satisfaction per shift.

Responsibilities include preparing and presenting menu items safely, setting up shifts, directing staff, and following up on performance and guest concerns. A high school diploma is preferred, with 1 year in food service expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college or degree preferred.
• 1 year experience preferably in the food service industry.
• Leadership abilities and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented safely and hygienically per procedures.
• Shift Readiness: plan, inspect, assign stations and communicate expectations to staff.
• Direct your shift to lead a great shift while maintaining standards and handling issues.
• Follow up by measuring shift results and addressing guest concerns and maintenance needs.
