Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader in Pekin, IL to support the Assistant Manager and General Manager, ensuring top-tier hospitality and operational standards. You will supervise Team Members, monitor labor, and help drive sales within the restaurant’s plan.

You will train staff, maintain safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment while addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to work flexible hours including opening/closing shifts.
• Reliable transportation and a method of communication with the restaurant (phone or email).

Responsibilities

• Take action to ensure hospitality service is outstanding and guest needs are met.
• Path the restaurant operations to anticipate problems and correct them quickly.
• Enforce quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor staffing and labor costs.
• Create a friendly atmosphere for Team Members and Guests.
• Train and supervise Team Members effectively.
• Support efforts to maximize sales and minimize costs.
• Plan and implement operational routines during the shift.
• Maintain cooperative relations with management and staff.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and security policies are observed.
