Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Shift Manager to support the General Manager in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will supervise a team, run shifts, and ensure adherence to company policies and standards while training staff and managing operations.

The role requires 1–2 years in quick service or guest service leadership, with the ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds. A Food Handlers certification may be required, and previous POS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in quick service restaurant or guest service leadership role.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers certification.
• Ability to stand and walk 95-100% of shift; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team to deliver quality guest service and maintain operational standards.
• Run shifts and support GM with policies and procedures implementation.
• Explain menu items to guests and handle cash/POS transactions.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Train and develop restaurant staff; participate in staffing decisions.
