Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Team Captain to lead shifts, set the pace and standards, and guide Crew Members when the General Manager isn’t in the store. You’ll help guests meet their fitness goals and ensure smooth operations by managing shifts, maintaining product quality, and upholding food safety.

Responsibilities include leading by example, coaching staff, scheduling adjustments, and ensuring excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of guest service experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead and direct a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior leadership experience at work or school organizations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead team during shifts, setting pace and standards for the group.
• Create and deliver a shift huddle at the start of shifts to communicate goals.
• Ensure proper role positioning and efficient operations.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to Crew Members.
• Hold team members accountable for uniforms and daily tasks.
• Maintain labor efficiency, scheduling adjustments, and food safety standards.
• Assist guests at the POS with upselling, voids or refunds.
• Foster excellent guest service and resolve issues promptly.
