Job summary

Smoothie King (SKFI) is seeking a Team Captain to lead shifts and guide Crew Members in delivering high-quality guest service. This role focuses on managing staffing, ensuring food safety, and upholding Smoothie King's standards while helping guests meet their nutrition goals.

The position emphasizes leadership, accountability, and a positive team culture, with a quarterly incentive bonus and tips included in pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of guest service experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead and direct a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior leadership experience at work or school organizations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts as team leader, setting pace and standards.
• Deliver a shift huddle at the start of shifts to communicate goals.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to maintain efficient operations.
• Coach and support Crew Members; enforce uniform and daily checklists.
• Ensure items are labeled and adhere to food safety standards.
• Monitor speed of service, product quality, and cleanliness.
• Assist guests at the POS with upselling, refunds, or voiding transactions.
• Handle guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Promote the 'Serve to Inspire' culture during shifts.
• Communicate issues to franchise owner or manager.
