Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations and deliver a warm, welcoming guest experience. You will lead the shift, maintain brand standards, and ensure a smooth hand-off between shifts from the General Manager or Assistant GM.

You’ll coach team members, manage promotions and recipes, handle cash and safety procedures, and support inventory and deposits while keeping the cafe energized and fun.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role or properly trained to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability to cover different days, times, or shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with energy and clear direction to keep the team on track.
• Coach and train team members on responsibilities, products, and promotions.
• Ensure standard operating procedures, cash handling, and store safety are upheld.
• Complete administrative tasks such as deposits, inventory, and product orders with integrity.
