Job summary

Fresh Dining Concepts’ Cinnabon in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, uphold product quality, safety, and guest experience. As the heartbeat of the bakery when managers are away, you’ll motivate the team, handle guest concerns, and ensure smooth shift execution.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months supervisory experience, availability weeknights/weekends/holidays, and basic math/ POS skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays).
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location).
• 0–1 year of food service or retail experience.
• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems).
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and serve as the go-to leader during your shift
• Maintain high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety
• Motivate and coach team members to deliver excellent guest experiences
• Handle challenges confidently—from team needs to guest concerns
• Know when to escalate issues to store leadership
