Cinnabon is seeking a reliable Shift Manager in Joliet, IL to lead daily bakery operations, coach team members, and ensure top-notch guest service. You will oversee shifts, maintain standards, and help drive store performance in a fast-paced environment.

As a Shift Manager, you'll help oversee daily operations, coach team members, maintain high standards, and ensure every shift runs smoothly. What You’ll Do

• Lead shifts and provide direction, coaching, and support to team members
• Deliver friendly, energetic, and professional guest service
• Prepare, bake, and serve Cinnabon products according to brand standards
• Ensure operational, food safety, and guest service standards are consistently met
• Support daily bakery operations and shift execution
• Maintain product quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Operate registers and handle cash, payments, and transactions accurately
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
• Support training and development of new and existing team members
• Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe environment
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work for every scheduled shift
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow established call-out procedures
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with attention to detail
• Support teammates during busy periods and work collaboratively to achieve store goals
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude every shift

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Demonstrated commitment to punctuality, including arriving on time, prepared, and ready to begin work at the scheduled start of each shift
• Dependable attendance record with the ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts
• Ability to proactively communicate scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or absences in accordance with company policies
• Strong work ethic and commitment to being dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
• Ability to follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and brand standards
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
• 1+ year of food service, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
• Previous shift lead, keyholder, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and support team members
• Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and guest service skills
• Basic math skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout a shift
• Comfortable working in warm and cold environments, including around ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers
• Food Handler Certification (current or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, accountability, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow
• Successful background check may be required
