RaceTrac, a leader in convenience retail, is seeking a Shift Manager to drive guest service excellence while coaching team members on every shift. You will ensure operational standards, train staff, and manage daily store activities with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service and 1+ year of leadership. A high school diploma or GED is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cheerful, can-do tone to motivate the team.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during shifts.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating as needed.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift-change comms and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Relay important updates from leadership to shift staff and monitor task completion.
