Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on each shift, motivate colleagues, and ensure guests feel welcome.

You will coach team members, manage food service, inventory, cash handling, and store cleanliness while maintaining safety standards; you’ll collaborate with leadership and drive operational excellence.

Strong communication and 2–3 years of experience in retail or food service are desired; a HS diploma or GED is required, with willingness to obtain permits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to coach others and follow through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Direct food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling as needed.
• Coach team members in real time and provide guidance.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and guide the team to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
