Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team, ensure outstanding guest service, and support store operations. You’ll coach team members, manage food service, stocking, and cash handling, and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant store environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service with at least 1 year in leadership, and are able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain required permits. This role offers growth opportunities across RaceTrac’s divisions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, promotional communication, and cash wrap.
