Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams across busy travel plazas in the Northeast and Midwest. You’ll ensure high standards of customer service, execute brand and food safety requirements, and train new team members while monitoring cash handling and daily procedures.

You’ll manage opening, shift tasks, operating the POS system, food prep and service, stock and sanitation, and help resolve customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Prepare, thaw, cook, package, wrap, and clean kitchen tasks as needed.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training of new team members.
