Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily shifts across our travel plaza locations. You will ensure high standards of customer service, manage cash handling, and supervise team members to meet brand and food safety policies.

Applicants should have prior cash handling, customer service experience, and leadership capabilities. This on-site role includes a dynamic work environment at our Newark, DE site with flexible scheduling and opportunities to train new staff.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Assist in training new team members and enforcing standards.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
