Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Tacoma, WA is seeking a crew member to perform, lead, and supervise station duties across fountain, grill, drive-thru where applicable, to ensure quality products and fast, friendly service. You will coach team members, follow company policies, assist with new-employee orientation, maintain sanitation, and handle customer or employee issues.

Expect irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• General restaurant knowledge is expected.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication is essential.
• Ability to follow directions and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership, time management, and conflict-resolution skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform, lead, and supervise station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru where applicable) to meet standards.
• Ensure the team works to capacity and maintains speed of service.
• Coach and train crew members on tasks.
• Comply with all company policies and operational standards.
• Assist with new employee orientation and training.
• Report customer or employee complaints to management on duty.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties and manage waste and equipment cleaning.
• Maintain regular attendance.
