Job summary

Dunkin’ is seeking a Shift Leader to coach Team Members during each shift, uphold Brand standards, and deliver great guest service. You set goals, assign tasks, and motivate with timely feedback to ensure a smooth operation.

You will support the Restaurant Manager, manage inventory and cash, handle customer issues, and help train the team while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans for shifts to ensure positions are adequately supported.
• Coach restaurant team members as needed throughout a shift with timely feedback.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Support the training of restaurant team members as needed.
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies/processes during a shift.
• Communicate clearly with the next Shift Leader to help prepare them for shift.
• Manage inventory throughout the shift.
• Handle customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies; resolve issues quickly.
• Manage cash over/short and ensure policy adherence.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and adherence to policies.
