Job summary

Caribou Coffee Operating Company, Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader in West Des Moines to guide store operations in partnership with management. You will ensure the team understands goals, standards, and guest connections while maintaining a positive, high-energy environment.

You will lead shifts, train team members on roles and product knowledge, and uphold SOPs. The role requires managing tasks, coaching staff, and maintaining store appearance and guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with team engagement and guest satisfaction while delivering Make Fun Happen.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure SOPs and quality standards are followed.
• Coach and give feedback to team members to bring their best DOING and BEING.
• Perform administrative tasks such as bank deposits, inventory, store orders, and other duties as assigned.
• Take ownership of current and upcoming shifts and communicate priorities clearly.
