Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Newport, VT is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining store appearance, and contributing to daily store operations.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, supervise service programs, handle phone calls, process orders and returns, manage opening/closing duties, and step in for management during shifts, ensuring accuracy and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedures.
