Job summary

WhiteWater Express Car Wash is seeking a Shift Leader for a full-time, fast-paced environment in Michigan. You will lead daily shift operations, support team members, and ensure high-quality customer service while promoting a positive team atmosphere.

The role offers paid training, growth opportunities from within, and a starting wage of $17–$19 per hour plus biweekly tips. No prior car wash experience required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shift.
• Available evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and supervise the team.
• Ensure team members understand and complete responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns.
• Assist customers with wash packages and memberships.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Help with safety procedures and incident reporting.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain site cleanliness and wash quality.
• Foster a positive, team-focused work environment.

What You’ll Do (Fast-Paced & Active Role)

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Support store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment

This is not a desk job. You’ll be on your feet, leading the team, supporting customers, and helping the operation run smoothly throughout the shift.

What We’re Looking For
