Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Michigan is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the night shift, support a small team, and ensure smooth operations. Starting pay is $17–$19 per hour plus biweekly tips, with paid training.

No prior car wash experience is required—training is provided. You will manage daily shift tasks, assist customers, and uphold safety and service standards while opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma required.
• Leadership, retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight.
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality.

What You’ll Do (Fast-Paced & Active Role)

This is not a desk job. You’ll be on your feet, leading the team, supporting customers, and helping the operation run smoothly throughout the shift.

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Available evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Dependable, motivated, and customer-focused
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
• Must pass a background check
