Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a Team Leader in the Parkton, MD area to manage store operations on duty and act as PIC when needed. You will drive customer service, product availability, food service execution, safety, and cost controls while guiding a retail team to meet sales goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, timely execution, and adherence to SOPs, with focus on coaching staff, maintaining standards, and ensuring a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.
• Preferred: ANSI-approved Food Safety Manager Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and coach team members.
• Oversee shift operations as PIC when a senior lead is not present.
• Ensure food service programs are executed with quality and safety.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and compliance with procedures.
• Onboard and train team members, delivering regular feedback.
• Supervise store employees in the absence of a more senior leader.
• Uphold safety, security, and SOPs across operations.
