Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Indianapolis to lead daily operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on shift. You will manage team members and help maintain exceptional guest experiences at our fast-paced restaurant.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of leadership in a restaurant, hold a food safety certification, and demonstrate strong problem solving and communication skills to support a collaborative ShackFam environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
