Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Shift Lead for its DashMart local fulfillment center in Garden City. You will oversee shift operations in a fast-paced warehouse and light-prep kitchen environment, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, and teamwork. This role emphasizes ownership, leadership, and high-quality customer service.

Qualified candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in food, warehouse, or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, positive, and a team player.
• Proven track record in food & beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate pallet jack/hand truck.
• Willing to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.
• Organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Flexible scheduling across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned shifts, overseeing warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, quality, and training.
• Ensure accurate order execution and smooth Dasher pickups to delight customers.
• Guide Operations Associates through shifts, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Support both warehouse and kitchen tasks and maintain a positive, safe work atmosphere.
